What are the precautions for LPG cylinders?

There are many types of LPG cylinders. There are large-capacity types suitable for industrial users and large-scale catering industries, and small-capacity LPG cylinders suitable for household users. The cylinder body of a large-capacity liquefied petroleum gas cylinder for gas supply is composed of a cylinder and two sealing heads. So what are the precautions for LPG cylinders?

What are the precautions for LPG cylinders

  1. Pay attention to protecting the gas cylinder shell

The outer body of the LPG cylinder has one longitudinal weld and two circumferential welds. The LPG cylinder is painted gray, and the spray lettering is red. The inside or outside the cylinder must be dry and clean to avoid the appearance of other contaminants, which may damage the cylinder. Take care to protect the outer shell as much as possible.

  2. pay attention to the inspection and then transport

The product must be inspected and qualified before transportation. The qualification certificate and quality assurance certificate must be fully equipped, and the product must be firmly tied in the protective cover of the steel cylinder. The liquefied petroleum gas cylinders for bulk transportation shall be negotiated between the two parties, and special documents shall be provided and delivered to the user. The cylinders shall also be deflated and the gas outlet shall be closed with a plastic stopper.

Through the above simple understanding, I am familiar with some precautions for the use of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, which should be kept in mind.
